2017 Garage Loft End Gables

The sheetrock walls in the house will be ready for paint on Monday, August 21'st. I decided to tape and mud the garage end gables and paint them when I get the rest of the interior house painting completed.

I will finish installing the loft ceiling, and trim out the garage loft and main floor windows when the house is completed.

2017 Insulation all complete

I bought enough insulation to insulate the mechanical room again, and the hallway to the mechanical room. (I had removed most of the ceiling, and some of the wall insulation to install plumbing drains, water lines and electrical wiring. I installed the used insulation in other parts of the house just to keep it off the floor and out of the way.)

Insulation can be miserable to install, so I decided I would get the rest of the insulation I need and finish it. The entire house is now complete.

2017 Basement Bathroom

I installed and wired in the baseboard heater in the basement bathroom last week. I also installed the baseboard trim.

I installed and insulated a drop ceiling in the bathroom to conceal the plumbing and electrical wiring. I replaced the original can light with an LED light. It gives off much more light and is much easier to install.

2017 Wiring main Panel

I ran the majority of the electrical wiring to the basement main panel. I connected three main floor circuits to the loft sub panel. I thought I had enough slots left in the main panel. I was wrong!

I installed a subpanel beside the main panel. I ran out of slots in the main panel because I did not account for the basement bathroom baseboard heater, and the basement family area in-floor heat circuit. I now have plenty of open spaces if I ever need to wire something else in.
